The NCP1212P is an integrated offline switcher regulator controller circuit. It was developed to simplify the design and production of multiple output systems. The NCP1212P offers a cost-effective and easy-to-use solution for single stage power conversion with low power, high efficiency and low minimum stand-by power. In order to achieve higher efficiency and lower stand-by power, the chip uses a power-save mode that allows for the output stage to shut down when the input is low.

The NCP1212P has an operating temperature range from -40°C to 125°C and is available in an 8-lead SOIC package. It is designed to substitute more expensive voltage regulator ICs and uses a fixed frequency current mode control.
