This device contains an integrated boost controller and integrated high voltage half bridge driver, operating from ground level.
The NCP1406V25GEVB is particularly suitable for applications in the range of 10W to 70W, with up to 40V DC output. It operates from a single supply input of anywhere between 7V and 40V. The device supports up to 40V external output for a wide range of applications that require higher output voltages and currents. This device is packaged in an 8-pin SOP for an easy integration into a wide range of applications.
The NCP1406V25GEVB application field and working principle are rather simple. The device contains a high frequency synchronous Buck-Boost power stage, with the high voltage half bridge driver integrated.
