NCP5351D is a 3-phase high voltage gate driver controller used in power systems to drive PMOS/NMOS mosfets. It is designed to increase motor efficiency, reduce power consumption and extend motor operational life. It is specially designed for battery powered applications, such as electric vehicles and hybrid vehicles.

NCP5351D utilizes a multiphase interleaved control scheme to support high current applications and to reduce the switching losses by distributing the switching elements over the phases. It is used in 3-phase and 6-phase motor control systems. The main features of NCP5351D include low current consumption, low standby power, wide operating temperature range and excellent EMC performance.

The NCP5351D integrates one driver and one MOSFET per phase in a single package, allowing for high efficiency in an efficient package. The NCP5351D also includes a PWM dimming control, providing flexible control of the Vmotor. The NCP5351D can be used in variety of PMIC applications such as renewable energy conversion, automotive, robotics and industrial systems. In addition to the standard driver operations, the NCP5351D also offers advanced features.

NCP5351D is built with advanced features that allow for fast, reliable motor drive control. It incorporates advanced high frequency switching modulation to reduce switching losses and improve motor drive efficiency. The NCP5351D provides a high voltage, high current drive stage to control MOSFETs. The gate drivers use a gate drive voltage to control the MOSFETs. The NCP5351D has six gate drivers, each gate driver capable of providing a high voltage gate drive voltage to the MOSFETs. The gate drivers have separate power supplies, and each gate driver can be independently controlled.

The NCP5351D also supports a wide range of protection features, such as over-current protection, over-temperature protection, UVR protection, over-voltage protection, under-voltage protection, short-circuit protection, brownout protection and over-voltage lockout.
