NCV2903DMR2G is a low-power linear comparator featured with fast response times and low offset voltage, which is specifically designed for consumer and automotive application. This linear comparator conveniently fits in for voltage-driven controls and is ideal for current limit protection and over-voltage thresholds.
Working Principle
NCV2903DMR2G comparator has open-drain output stage, which functions in three distinct states. Firstly, it will compare the input voltages applied on the inverted and non-inverted inputs, when there is a voltage difference between them, the output will become active driven low. Secondly, when the voltage difference is eliminated, the output will become inactive driven high and thirdly, it will remain inactive when the voltage difference is not large enough to activate the output stage. Moreover, the comparator is capable of driving output high current of up to 25mA.Application Field
NCV2903DMR2G comparator is extensively used as voltage error amplifier, window comparator, current limit protection, voltage level detection and over-voltage protection thanks to its low power, fast speed and wide operating temperature ranges. Besides, it can be used in various industrial applications, such as motor and power supply system, automobile adaption function and voltage monitor systems.Since NCV2903DMR2G comparator is specifically designed for consumer and automotive application, it is available in Automotive grade which improves system reliability in automotive field and also come packed in SOT-23-5 and SOIC-8 packages.
