NE5532DG is a field-effect-transistor (FET) type high-performance dual operational amplifier. It has high frequency characteristics, high input and output dynamic range, high voltage gain and low power consumption. It is widely used in a variety of preamps, reflow ammeters, low-frequency filtering circuits and audio/audio circuits.

The main characteristics of this chip are high input impedance, high gain and low output impedance. Also, it has excellent performance in terms of input offset voltage, input bias current, input voltage noise, and gain-bandwidth product. Furthermore, the offset voltage drift can be minimized by using the NE5532DG compared with other low-power type FET amplifiers.

Working Principle of NE5532DG

The working principle of NE5532DG is based on Field-Effect-Transistor (FET) type design. A FET amplifies the signal voltage as it is applied to its gate electrode. The amplified signal is then conveyed to the output terminal through two complementary, mechanically-coupled output transistors.
