A TVS (Transient Voltage Suppressor) is an electrical device that is used to protect sensitive electronic components from excessive electrical stress. In particular, TVSs are used to protect against transients or “spikes” of electrical energy that can damage or disrupt the operation of an electrical device or circuit.
