PTC resettable fuses, often referred to as PolyFuse, are becoming increasingly popular in the field of electronic protection. RGEF500 series of PTC resettable fuses have been designed to provide optimal overcurrent and overload protection against short-circuits and other fault conditions in electronic systems. The main components of the RGEF500 are a PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) thermal switch, a resistor and a support terminal.
