RGEF800 is a standard ptc resettable fuse featuring a simple design with good performance. It has a rated operating voltages of AC 85 - 250V and a rated current of 8A.The RGEF800 is designed to be triggered when current exceeds a certain threshold set by the user, at which point it creates a self-clearing break in the circuit that prevents dangerous overloads and reduces the threat of catastrophic arcing.
The working principle of RGEF800 is based on the fact that it contains a special material inside that can withstand high temperatures without breaking down or causing damage. When the current flowing through the circuit reaches the set trigger level, it causes the material inside the protective device to heat up and reach its melting point. This melting point is a predetermined temperature, above which the material inside the fuse will break down.
