RF Evaluation and Development Kits, Boards, have become increasingly important pieces of technology in technological development today. One notable example of such technology is the RN174U-I/RM, which was developed by Renesas Technology Corporation and released in September 2018. The device is an IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax compliant transceiver SoC module that greatly simplifies the development process of various wireless devices.

The RN174U-I/RM is designed around a 2x2 MIMO setup for NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and BLE connectivity.
