SI1015-C-GM2R is a type of radio-frequency (RF) transceiver integrated circuits (ICs). It is designed to provide reliable and cost-efficient communication between two electronic devices. Working Principle
The SI1015-C-GM2R is designed to operate in the 200-950 MHz frequency range. The communication is based on the Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) modulated technique. This technique allows radio transmission and reception at different frequency bands over the same frequency range. The bandwidth of the radio is narrowed by the frequency hopping modulation technique and can reach up to 10 MHz of transmission bandwidth. The SI1015-C-GM2R uses GMSK (Gaussian minimum shift keying) modulation with a bitrate of 1 Mbit/s. This type of modulation changes the phase of the transmitted signal in order to represent the digital information. The SI1015-C-GM2R is capable of receiving and transmitting data with a high sensitivity of -103 dBm and a transmission power of up to +20 dBm. The SI1015-C-GM2R has several other useful features, including the ability to achieve a low current consumption of around 21 mA in receive mode and 17.5 mA in transmit mode.
