Working Principle
The SI1015-C-GM2R is designed to operate in the 200-950 MHz frequency range. The communication is based on the Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) modulated technique. This technique allows radio transmission and reception at different frequency bands over the same frequency range. The bandwidth of the radio is narrowed by the frequency hopping modulation technique and can reach up to 10 MHz of transmission bandwidth. The SI1015-C-GM2R uses GMSK (Gaussian minimum shift keying) modulation with a bitrate of 1 Mbit/s. This type of modulation changes the phase of the transmitted signal in order to represent the digital information.
