Humidity and moisture sensors have a wide range of applications, from residential to industrial. The SI7020-A10-IM1 is a digital humidity and temperature sensor from Silicon Labs that combines an accurate instrument-grade sensing element with a master System-on-Chip (SoC) architecture to enable high-performance, convienent and reliable measurements in a variety of packages. The product utilizes a unique capacitive sensing element and makes the device ideal for systems that require high reliability in fluctuating operating environments.

The performance of SI7020-A10-IM1 is maintained with an optimized electrode design that has both high linearity up to 100% RH at 25°C and low hysteresis to ensure accurate relative humidity measurements. The internal temperature compensation algorithm increases accuracy by compensating for transient temperature variations. The moisture sensing element also has a dynamic range of 0-95% RH, and is capable of operating in temperatures between 0-65 °C.
