The ST1S06DEMOBO33 is a dedicated evaluation module (EVM) designed to evaluate the features and performance of the ST1S06 synchronous rectification integrated circuit. The ST1S06DEMOBO33 evaluation board offers an extension of the ST1S06 evaluation board by including a TMB2430ANL device, incorporating a high side FET and low side synchronous rectifier for AC-DC applications. The ST1S06DEMOBO33 is compatible with the ST1S06 device family and provides a platform for analysis and exploration of system level parameters, such as efficiency, line regulation, load regulation, inrush current limitation, etc. It is a single stage isolated DC-DC converter evaluation board with an integrated high-side FET and low-side synchronous rectifier. The evaluation board is provided with a graphical user interface (GUI) that enables quick and easy configuration of the parameters.
The ST1S06DEMOBO33 evaluation board supports offline, AC driven applications such as LED lighting, uninterruptible power supplies, motor drives, and LCD monitors. The main components of the evaluation board are an LCD module, a primary-side controller, a secondary-side controller, an AC power supply, and the ST1S06 device. The ST1S06 provides controllable switching of the high side and low side MOSFETs.
