Evaluation Boards - DC/DC & AC/DC (Off-Line) SMPS offer a range of system solutions for converting AC power into DC power or DC power into AC power. STEVAL-CBL010V1 is a new evaluation board which is a part of this technology, and is used for off-line applications.
Its main application field is in the design of switch mode power supply units which are normally connected to the mains of a building. These are used in two main types of applications – AC-DC or DC-AC. The STEVAL-CBL010V1 is an evaluation board which is designed for study in off-line applications and can be used for testing and development of AC-DC power supply solutions.
The STEVAL-CBL010V1 evaluation board is based on the STSW-STM0260 software and offers a Pre-Scalar-Based Synchronous Buck Controller which is designed to control the voltage. It enables the evaluation of a Buck converter topology using an STM32F030xx or STM32F031xx microcontroller. All the components of the STEVAL-CBL010V1 are embedded into an 8 layer PCB, which can be populated in a standard DIP or SOIC package.
