The STEVAL-ISC003V1 is an evaluation board and kit used to demonstrate the working of energy harvesting systems with an available self-based energy source. It belongs to the family of ‘Evaluation and Demonstration Boards and Kits’ developed by the Italian market leader in the field - STMicroelectronics. The HV drivers then amplify the input signals for further conversion. The LV drivers offer per-channel voltage protection and are used to drive the sequential logic and sensor control signals.
Once the signal is received, the DC/DC converter installed in the kit then converts it into a usable DC output. The high-performance booster regulator converts the harvested energy into a voltage that matches the operating voltage of the microcontroller, thus making it easily usable. The DC/DC converter uses a maximum peak current mode control technique for better regulation accuracy.
The kit is versatile and user-friendly, making it ideal as a demonstrative tool in energy harvesting applications. The board has an efficient system design with all components conveniently incorporated into the kit. The board supports remote monitoring and can be modified for various applications, making it suitable for production as well.
