SY89823LHI is an advanced, low-jitter clock generator. The device performs clock multiplication, division and buffering of reference clock signals derived from Crystal Oscillator, LVDS, or SMA input signals. The SY89823LHI has three PLLs with independent frequency division, multiplication and synchronization capabilities that can be used for various timing applications. The device utilizes a single active clock pin, and a single clock source, which simplifies board layout.
The SY89823LHI clock buffer and driver has 6 outputs and 8 input dividers and 8 output dividers. Each output divider can divide the clock signal from the input source by a factor of 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512 up to 4096. The input divider also allows for a clock multiplication factor of 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512 up to 8192. An on-chip 2.5V voltage regulator, which allows a single +3.3V supply, further simplifies board layout.
