T1040RDB-PB Application Field and Working Principle
The T1040RDB-PB board (Radical-DEP) is a highly advanced embedded platform for embedded systems development. This board offers a wide range of features, including an on-board residential gateway, four Ethernet ports, two serial ports, dual monitored Ethernet ports, as well as a large number of supported peripherals. It is ideal for developing embedded systems, such as routers, switches, field devices, and more.
The T1040RDB-PB board is powered by the open source eCos Embedded Operating System running on one of the popular Freescale QorIQ T1040 processors. This processor is capable of running at up to 1GHz and provides a wide range of features such as 512K bytes of on-chip RAM, 4MB of off-chip RAM, four Ethernet ports with integrated PHYs and dual-channel USB support. This platform supports multiple hardware architectures including ARM, XScale, MIPS and PowerPC.
