Introduction

TC4424CPA is a monolithic MOSFET driver integrated circuit manufactured by Microchip Technology. It is a dual high-current gate driver with two output stages consisting of internal N-channel and P-channel power MOSFET. Then, the current will flow through the other output. This cycle continues until the output voltage reaches the maximum voltage level. The TC4424CPA also features a Thermal Shut Down (TSD) feature which will shut down the device in case of an over-temperature situation. This feature protects the system from damages due to overheating.
