Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors are a type of capacitor, often referred to as "Electrolytic Capacitors". They are used for numerous applications, including in consumer electronics such as televisions and phones, but also for medical applications. In these applications, the capacitors are often used to smooth out power, acting as a sort of filter to the power that is sent through the circuit.

The TE1107 is a type of Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitor, specifically designed for high-frequency and high-power-density applications. It is a non-polar device, meaning that the polarity of the two electrodes is not required to be observed for the device to operate. This allows the device to provide higher levels of efficiency and reliability than other types of capacitors.

The TE1107 is a Radial Lead type of capacitor, meaning that it is cylindrical in shape and has two metal terminals on each side of the capacitor. The capacitance is held between these leads, which are made of the same metal. This type of capacitor also has the advantage of being able to handle higher operating temperatures than other types of Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors, making it ideal for high-power applications.

This solution contains ions that have been naturally discharged. These ions will move across the Faraday Shield, creating a capacitive effect on the interior of the capacitor.

The capacitor then works by storing this electrical charge between the two metal terminals. This charge will fluctuate, depending on the incoming electrical signal, creating an alternating current, despite the fact that the voltage is initially constant. This alternating current will be sent out of the capacitor, and is able to be used in various electronics applications, such as power smoothing or voltage regulation.

The TE1107 is a very useful and high-powered Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitor, as it can handle much higher operating temperatures and power densities than similar capacitors of its size, making it ideal for a variety of applications. Its Faraday Shield design also allows it to operate with greater efficiency and reliability. This makes it perfect for numerous applications, from consumer electronics to medical applications, where power smoothing and voltage regulation are necessary components.
