THS4631DDAEVM evaluation boards are specially designed for such purposes, to make it easier for engineers to evaluate the performance of op amps with a wide range of effects and parameters. THS4631DDAEVM provides an evaluation platform for the THS4631D op amp, which is part of the THS4000TB family of low noise, wide bandwidth, low drift amplifiers with rail-to-rail inputs and outputs. The circuit features a full-wave bridge rectifier and a pair of capacitors that provide power supply protection, along with two adjustable current sources for gains ranging from 1 to 100.The THS4631DDAEVM evaluation board provides a controlled environment for testing and evaluating the THS4631D op amp. It can be used to evaluate the dynamic range, load drive capability, distortion performance, power supply rail stability, temperature coefficient stability, comparator performance, total harmonic distortion, settling time, switching speed and noise performance of the THS4631D device.When connected to any of the two power supplies (positive and negative), the circuit offers waveform and spectral displays of the output. The user can adjust the input voltage and current to understand the relationship between input and output. The oscilloscope window is also provided so that the user can get an accurate visualisation of the waveforms.The design of the THS4631DDAEVM evaluation board is based on application note AN1812/D, which includes example circuits as well as general information about using op amps. The board can be used during the design process and debug stages of a new op amp circuit, prototyping an innovative idea or verifying existing designs.The THS4631D op amp can be configured into a non-inverting configuration, inverting configuration, dual-input configuration, instrumentation configuration, differential configuration and transimpedance configuration.
