The device also supports the LIN and SAE J1939 protocols required for automotive, truck and bus applications.The TJA1041AT/CM,118 consists of a dual CAN and LIN transceiver core as well as other peripheral components such as a voltage regulator, a power amplifier, and a digital part that includes a real-time clock, a LIN tranceiver, and other configurable logic block. The transceiver core is responsible for transcoding the CAN logic signals and for synchronizing them to the CAN protocol. CAN messages are encoded in a differential Manchester format, meaning that a clock signal is embedded in the transmitted data. The integrated power amplifier supplies the required transmission power and provides adjustable output power up to 8 W.The LIN transceiver is used to monitor the bus state, send and receive LIN messages, and control the device\'s power state. The digital part contains several logic blocks including a configurable logic block, which can be used to build custom logic functions. It also contains a real-time clock, which can be used to measure the delay between two CAN messages in order to synchronize them.The TJA1041AT/CM,118 is a highly-integrated interface driver, receiver, and transceiver with advanced fault diagnosis and protection features.
