TJA1053T/N1,512 is a transceiver designed for automotive networks applications such as CAN and LIN. This transceiver combines the integrated bus management and protocol handling of a CAN Tranceiver with physical layer interface circuitry and a 5V or 3.3V regulator circuit. The TJA1053T/N1,512 provides physical layer interface compliance with ISO 11898-2 and ISO 9141-2 (J2602).
The TJA1053T/N1,512 enables bi-directional communication within a wide area of multi-master, multi-slave networks by providing a level of interface compliance with the internationally accepted physical layer standard for automotive local interconnect networks (LIN). It provides voltage levels of CAN High and Low, as well as J2602 (ISO 9141-2). The transceiver is suitable for use in LIN applications with higher bus speeds than the pre-aging versions of the TJA1053T/N1,512.
This transceiver is a crucial component in the development of automotive networks, such as those used in modern Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) communication. Working Principle:
