The TLC7524CPWR is an 8-bit digital to analog converter (DAC) that performs analog conversions with a minimum of external components. It is designed to supply bipolar or unipolar output signals with single or split-supply levels. This device allows applications that require precision analog output with low power consumption.

The digital power-down mode places all the outputs in a high impedance state, while the analog power-down mode sets the output to a preset voltage level or current sink level. The digital power-down mode is useful in applications when not all the outputs need to be activated at a given time.
