Transient Voltage Suppressors (TVS) are components with the capability of diverting excessive static or transient electric current away from sensitive electronic components.
The TLP17A is a type of TVS-Diode designed to protect electronic equipment from voltage transients caused by direct events such as lightning, tire defects, power cross, or inductive loading.
