The UC3886N is a current-mode pulse width modulation (PWM) controller intended to be used in DC-to-DC converters using switch-mode power supplies. It is a monolithic integrated circuit with a 16-pin Dual-In-Line plastic package designed for step-down, step-up, and inverting applications. The device is designed to provide two outputs with independent control to enable the use of a non-isolated topology. It is capable of performing either a single-ended or a double-ended conversion.

The UC3886N controller is based on an exact and accurate current mode control scheme with a low quiescent current.
