The UCC29002DGKG4 integrated dual output Power Regulator is designed to provide both high and low voltage outputs from a single input source. For highest efficiency and lowest noise, the device uses synchronous switching with edge-aligned PWM control. UCC29002DGKG4 responds quickly to transient loads and has fast loop compensation to minimize output voltage errors. The device includes integrated high and low voltage power MOSFETs, low dropout (LDO) linear regulator and two integrated PWM controllers. The PWM controllers provide one phase control, along with PWM synchronous rectification.
UCC29002DGKG4 also includes a number of protection features such as under voltage lockout (UVLO), over temperature protection (OTP), and current limit protection (CLP). It also has an adjustable voltage short-circuit (SC) protection and a power good indicator (PG) LED. The LED indicates that the power is within the operating specifications.
