The UCC2912N is a versatile, monolithic power management integrated circuit (PMIC) that has been designed to provide complete protection and control of an electrical system during hot-swap applications. Additionally, the UCC2912N can be configured to provide programmable current limit protection that is designed to limit the potential inrush current during hot-swap operations, thereby protecting the end-user from potential damage. The UCC2912N also includes an on-board voltage regulator that is specifically designed to provide power to the other PMICs within the system. The UCC2912N includes a configurable hot-swap control system, allowing for programmable hot-swap start-up and shut-down delay times.
