UCC3912DPG4 is an advanced Hot Swap Controller device targeted for wide input range of + 3.2V to + 24V with a maximum output current of 10A. The device provides all of the features necessary for a safe and reliable hot swap circuit with input voltage monitoring as well as inrush current limiting, over-current protection and charge current limitation. Its integrated power FET turns off when an over-current condition is detected, and it automatically resumes normal operation when the fault condition is cleared.

Working Principle
