Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors are one of the most common types of capacitors in the market and are widely used in a variety of applications. UCL1E331MNL1GS is a radial leaded aluminum electrolytic surface mount capacitor that has a 10mm diameter with a 10mm height. This capacitor is designed for low-loss and wide frequency range use in high-reliability applications including: over-voltage protection, EMI/RFI filtering, and timing circuits.
The construction of an aluminum electrolytic capacitor consists of an anode aluminum foil, an electrolyte, and a thin paper separator which is soaked in the electrolyte. The anode aluminum foil is covered with a thin layer of insulating aluminum oxide. A positive terminal is welded to the anode and a negative terminal is welded to the core. UCL1E331MNL1GS capacitors are available in capacitance values ranging from 10µF to 470µF and have a rated voltage of 10V, 16V, 25V, 50V, and 100V.
