The ZTX718 is a low power NPN silicon epitaxial transistor with a low collector-to-emitter saturation voltage. It is a member of a family of NPN transistors with specially-chosen characteristics for use as an amplifier, audio power amplifier, voltage regulator, high-current driver, and switch. The transistor is especially suited for use in linear applications because of its low collector-to-emitter saturation voltage, which makes it ideal for use in applications where precision is required.

The ZTX718 is a small signal BJT (Bipolar Junction Transistor) with a single junction configuration.
