The 1N4933G-T is a single, fast recovery rectifier diode. As such, it can be used in a variety of applications, including power supply design. The 1N4933G-T is ideal for these applications because of its high peak inverse voltage (PIV) rating of 400 volts and fast recovery time of 5 nanoseconds. It is also a more efficient diode than those in the 1N49xx family, boasting an average forward current of up to 1.0 Ampere.

The 1N4933G-T has two distinct functions; one is to convert alternating currents (AC) into direct currents (DC).
