AD7711ARZ-REEL7 is a single-channel, low-voltage, low-cost analog-to-digital converter produced by Analog Devices. It is a high-precision, low-power 8-bit ADC that is ideal for use in mobile and portable calibration and monitoring applications, such as hand-held meters and industrial instrumentation.
AD7711ARZ-REEL7 is designed to provide accurate conversion of analog signals to 8-bit digital values with very low input leakage current, low power consumption and excellent linearity. It provides an on-chip reference voltage and a temperature sensor which makes it suitable for a wide variety of applications.
The analog-to-digital converter is based on a capacitive conversion technique that is controlled by an onboard programmable logic array. It can be configured via the serial port interface to provide either a single-ended or differential signal output. The device is available in either a Standard or an Enhanced version that offer varying levels of performance. The Standard version provides a higher output gain accuracy and can support up to a 25 MSPS sample rate. The Enhanced version provides an even higher output gain accuracy and can support up to a 50 MSPS sample rate.
The AD7711ARZ-REEL7 is well suited for reliable measurements with connections to both the analog input and power sources. It has an 8-bit resolution and can support an input signal range from 0V to +4V. The device also has a versatile on-chip analog reference voltage and temperature measurement which makes it suitable for various applications.
