ADG419SRMZ-EP-RL7, an integrated circuit member of Analog Switches and multiplexers, demultiplexers interface family, is a multiplexer (analogue switch) with a single-pole/double-pole double throw (SPDT/DPDT) switch configuration. The ADG419SRMZ-EP-RL7 acts as a switch by controlling the signal path between two or more nodes of a system.The multiplexers family (for example, the ADG419SRMZ-EP-RL7, which is an part of Analog Switches, Multiplexers, Demultiplexers interface family) can be used in many applications that handle analog and distortion-sensitive digital signals. The relative block description and schematic diagram of the ADG419SRMZ-EP-RL7 is shown in the below image.The ADG419SRMZ-EP-RL7 has two power supply pins (Vdd and Vss) and eleven control pins (A,B,Y and OEN). The ADG419SRMZ-EP-RL7 is powered by connecting Vdd and Vss to a +5V power supply. The A and B are two switch channels and the OEN (active low) is the enable control pin. Y is the output pin. It is used to connect the two switch channels. Depending on the logic level of OEN and A, B the Y pin can be connected from A to B or from B to A.The table below gives the input-output characteristics of the ADG419SRMZ-EP-RL7 for various parameter combinations. It also gives the supply current and leakage current of the ADG419SRMZ-EP-RL7 for various input voltages.The ADG419SRMZ-EP-RL7 is mainly used in multiplexer and demultiplexer applications. In a multiplexer application, two or more input signals are connected to the A and B channels of the ADG419SRMZ-EP-RL7. The OEN pin will be used to select the desired signal to be connected to the output pin. In a demultiplexer application, one input signal is connected to the A or B channel of the ADG419SRMZ-EP-RL7 and the OEN pin is used to select either the A or B channel to be connected to the output. The ADG419SRMZ-EP-RL7 can also be used in data selector and data routing applications.Generally, the ADG419SRMZ-EP-RL7 is a suitable device for applications requiring low power, low switching latency and excellent noise immunity. Moreover, it features very low signal distortion and low on-resistance, which makes it suitable for signal conditioning applications. Furthermore, it also features high input impedance, enabling signal sources to remain unaffected by the device\'s loading.
