The ADG506ATE/883B is a versatile device from the Interface-Analog Switches, Multiplexers, Demultiplexers family. It is a low-cost, single-channel Analog Switch with CMOS compatible logic. The device features low on resistance of 30 ohms at a 5 V bias, a low logic power to switch time of 20 nano-seconds, and low power consumption at only 10 uA. This makes it ideal for many applications, ranging from switching of low-frequency signals, to switching of high-frequency signals up to electro-optic conversion.
One of the primary applications for this device is a small signal switch or multiplexer. The ADG506ATE/883B can be used to connect and switch between an input signal from either an analog or digital source and an output load.
