Introduction:
The BAV20 A0G is a single, fast-acting (350 ns) diode with a low forward voltage drop and a low reverse current, allowing it to be used in a wide range of applications. It is suitable for fast switching applications up to 2000 VRMS and is ideal for filtering, polarity protection, voltage peak clamping and other applications where overvoltage protection is important. The BAV20 A0G is designed to dissipate high-power pulses, and its high power pulses are minimized by its low forward voltage drop. Additionally, the BAV20 A0G has a very low leakage current (1.0 μA at, 10 V reverse rating) making it ideal for low-power protection applications.

Working principle:
