When the Base is not connected to the power supply, no current flows between the Collector and Emitter and hence the circuit is in the cutoff region. This current flow is controlled by regulating the voltage applied on the base. When the voltage increases, more current will flow between the Collector and Emitter andvice-versa. 3. Equivalent Circuit of BC548ATFR
