BCP55 and BCP115 are two types of bipolar junction transistors (BJT) commonly used in applications like amplifiers, switching, and more due to their low cost and high performance. They come in a variety of types such as NPN and PNP, low and high voltage, and low and high-current ratings.

A bipolar junction transistor has three terminals, a collector, an emitter, and a base. The collector is connected to the power source and the emitter is connected to ground.
