When the voltage is above the breakdown voltage, a large current flows through the diode, making it conduct. This current is known as Zener Current and it remains almost constant which ensures that the output voltage is also almost constant.The BZT52-C20X incorporates a special design that minimizes noise, distortion and power loss while maximizing efficiency. It has a temperature coefficient of -750mV/°C and a reverse breakdown voltage of 20V. Its forward voltage drops to 0.321v, making it suitable for low-voltage circuits.
