The DG509AAK/883B is a high performance analog switch, multiplexer, demultiplexer integrated circuit (IC). This device is ideal for applications requiring high speed signal switching, high bandwidth signal routing and isolation, and wide dynamic range signal levels. The DG509AAK/883B operates from a single 5V power supply and contains eight independent, current biased, single pole, double throw (SPDT) switches. Additionally, it contains a diode protection circuit which prevents over-voltage transients from entering the circuit.

The switches are controlled by four control signals; An active low enable (E) signal and three select lines (A, B, and C). The control signals determine which of the eight switches will be enabled and in which configuration. When the enable signal E is asserted, the selected switch will enable and, when the enable signal E is deasserted, the selected switch will disable. The select lines A, B, and C, each have two states allowing for a total of eight possible combinations. This combination capability makes the DG509AAK/883B useful for many different applications such as, for example, analog crosspoint switching, input/output multiplexers and demultiplexers, and logic signal switching.

The DG509AAK/883B can be operated from a single 5V power supply and can handle input voltages up to 10V.
