The Working Principle of DS92CK16TMTC

The working principle of DS92CK16TMTC can be described as follows:DS92CK16TMTC contains two transmit (TX) and two receive (RX) independent channels, one for each direction. The fiber input-to-output serial-data path is provided by 4 lanes of parallel data with optional clock-recovery recovery circuitry. The device is designed to handle up to 10.3125 Gbps of NRZ encoded data over multi-mode fiber optics.To transmit data, the TX channel converts the 8-bit parallel data stream into a 10-bit serial stream. The serial data is then NRZ encoded and transmitted over the fiber optics link. The two data lanes are clocked separately to reduce jitter and increase data integrity. For the receive side, the RX channel converts the 10-bit serial data stream back into 8-bit parallel data. The data stream is de-emphasis, de-skew and clock recovery circuitry is used to minimize data-skewing and jitter. The device also contains an integrated MII reclock that eliminates the need for an external reclock device or oscillator, and supports multiple clock dividers as well as clock multiplication. Additionally, a low-power 1.8V CMOS process and an integrated heat spreader make the DS92CK16TMTC an ideal solution for low-power, low-noise, high-performance communication systems.
