The DS92LV1212AMSAX is a low signal cable serial transceiver that is intended to be used in serial communication systems using multiple low signal differential pairs. It interfaces between the physical medium and logic signaling levels and supports a wide range of uses. The DS92LV1212AMSAX is capable of providing single-ended to differential data conversion, as well as differential to single-ended data conversion. The device features 8-bit bidirectional, differential data through a single-ended 4-bit interface. This interface can be configured as an optical medium via the SFF-8431 and SFF-8482 connector interfaces. It also supports additional interface data rates such as 1.5 Gb/s, 3.0 Gb/s and 6.0 Gb/s.
The DS92LV1212AMSAX is a transceiver with a low signal differential output and input complete with terminations. It provides a 1:2 multiplexer for serializing data which can accommodate multiple low signal (100 mV) differential pairs. This device acts as a deserializer for parallel data receipt. It offers a triangular coding algorithm which allows for increased data rate for longer distance transmission.
