The FEBFAN2360-LVA-GEVB evaluation board is an off-line DC/DC & AC/DC Switch Mode Power Supply (SMPS) used in a variety of applications. It features a low-voltage analog circuit that is especially suited for applications with very low input voltages (less than 50V) and output voltages of up to 2V. This board has an adjustable output voltage, fast transient response, low output ripple, and high efficiency.
The FEBFAN2360-LVA-GEVB evaluation board is designed to provide a cost effective solution for evaluating, designing, and prototyping DC/DC & AC/DC SMPSs. The board offers a wide range of features such as adjustable output voltage, current limitation, and temperature protection.
The board also features an advanced synchronous rectification controller with frequency jittering to optimize efficiency and crossover distortion, a digital soft-start controller to reduce inrush currents, and an adaptive voltage positioning (AVP) loop that helps maintain a stable output voltage over a variety of conditions.
The on-board DC/DC & AC/DC SMPS controller is combined with two low-voltage analog circuits and two 16-bit digital-to-analog converters (DACs) to produce the desired switching frequency and output voltage. The analog circuits are used for setting the output voltage and current limits, while the DACs are used to adjust the threshold voltage for current limiting and for setting the output voltage.
The board features a number of safety features such as a power fail detector, over-temperature protection, and over-voltage protection. Furthermore, the board provides an accurate way for measuring the input and output power under a variety of conditions.
The FEBFAN2360-LVA-GEVB evaluation board is ideal for evaluating, testing, and prototyping DC/DC & AC/DC SMPSs.
