The evaluation board creates an ideal power conversion system for diverse applications such as consumer electronics, industrial automation, medical electronics, HVAC, and lighting. FEBFAN23SV10M-LVA-GEVB offers exceptional features, including: • Respect voltage input range of 185-265 VAC • Regulated output voltage 0-3.3V/-5V/+5V • Maximum output current of 2A • Differential remote sensing • Automatic restart function • Electrolytic capacitors • High power transfer efficiency up to 93% • Thermal protection • UL safety approvalWorking PrincipleFEBFAN23SV10M-LVA-GEVB evaluation boards use power factor correction for efficient power conversion. The boards employ an active power-factor-correction (PFC) converter which is based on a HB topology. In addition, the evaluation boards use an active PFC boost converter in the feedback loop for improved efficiency and power security.The evaluation boards utilize a soft-start circuit that carefully ramps up the output voltage within a range of about 0.2V to the preset output voltage. When the output voltage reaches the preset value, the soft-start circuit will stop automatically. The FEBFAN23SV10M-LVA-GEVB board also has a built-in over current protection (OCP) feature, which will shut off the output voltage if the set current limit is exceeded. The evaluation board also features an over temperature protection (OTP) circuit that will cut off the output voltage if the onboard temperature reaches a certain level.In order to ensure good EMC performance, the evaluation boards are designed with EMI filters.
