The Sunblock FEBFSL206MRN-H428V1-GEVB evaluation board is designed for use in the evaluation of low-cost, low-power, three-phase synchronous rectification topologies. These boards are used in applications such as motor drives, solar & wind power systems, low-power marine propulsion systems, home appliances, battery packs, lighting/LED solutions and medical applications. This evaluation board features a runless, brakeless sIPM, two input cells, adjustable turn-on and turn-off thresholds, and integrated diagnostic and shutdown features.The FEBFSL206MRN-H428V1-GEVB evaluation board is a DC/DC & AC/DC off-line SMPS designed to provide an adjustable output voltage from a wide input voltage range. The board is designed to generate isolated DC/DC and AC/DC with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency, making it suitable for many different applications. The evaluation board features an integrated low-RDS FET and a wide range of power converter capabilities including adjustable turn-on and turn-off thresholds, integrated soft-start, and system level protection functions.The board is designed to be powered from either an AC or DC input voltage. On the primary side, two cells are connected in parallel to produce the rectified AC input voltage. On the secondary side, two isolated DC/DC and AC/DC converters are connected in parallel to produce the required output voltage. The FEBFSL206MRN-H428V1-GEVB evaluation board utilizes the recently developed Sunblock IPM technology to provide an integrated sIPM module. This module includes two low-power FETs integrated on the same die, connected in parallel for increased power output capabilities. The sIPM module is capable of generating the control signals for the two cells, including the turn-on and turn-off thresholds. It also provides diagnostic and shutdown functions. The two cells of the FEBFSL206MRN-H428V1-GEVB are designed to provide the high current required for the load. The two cells are controlled by a synchronous rectification controller that manages the turn-on and turn-off of the cells.
