Working Principle
The working principle of GP10MHM3/73 is based on the concepts of electrical circuits. When AC is applied to it, a reverse bias voltage is produced in the diode and no current passes through it. When a forward bias is applied, the diode turns on, conducting current in the forward direction and subsequent rectification of the AC voltage takes place.
The diode\'s design helps regulate the flow of current and facilitates efficient energizing of the motor. When the input voltage is more than 0.7V, the diode starts to respond and act as a bridge rectifier. It performs very well at higher forward voltages up to 1000V with a reverse voltage of 100V.
