The output stage is responsible for delivering the signal to the Gate Oxide MOSFET/IGBT. The output stage also contains an adjustable UV/OV protection circuit, which is responsible for protecting the Gate Oxide from over/under voltage and current conditions. The HIP4083ABT Gate Driver is capable of driving a single gate or dual gates with separate, adjustable turn on and turn off slew rates and dead times. The device also incorporates over/under voltage protection, and adjustable short-circuit protection.
