IR2132S is a high performance gate driver device from Infineon Technologies, that combines control circuitry with two power MOSFET & IGBT drivers. Each of the two drivers of the IR2132S can source and sink up to 1A of output current with peak current up to 4A.

The IR2132S driver device provides integrated protection and monitoring functions, such as dead time generators, over-current protection, over-temperature protection and gate-to-source voltage monitoring.

It can be used for driving power switches, such as Insulated-Gate Bipolar Transistors (IGBTs), MOSFETs and Triacs in a variety of switching applications. The IR2132S driver is available in 8-pin and 10-pin SOIC packages, both designed to be resilient against short-circuits and over-dissipation in an application.

Working Principle
