The L6739TR is a high-performance, adjustable, low-dropout (LDO) voltage regulator used to regulate a wide range of input voltages. It is a two-terminal, integrated, highly reliable, low-noise, low-dropout switch-mode regulator capable of providing up to 2000 mA of current. The L6739TR is ideal for portable devices, automotive audio systems, and automotive power converters and can be used as a power source for a range of applications.The main features of the L6739TR include a wide range of input voltages (2.3V to 24V DC) and a wide output voltage range (from 1V to 7V DC). The maximum output current is 2000 mA and the maximum quiescent current is 0.5 mA. It is designed to operate with a minimum on-state resistance (Rdson) of 400 mΩ. The device has a high efficiency of up to 95%.The L6739TR uses a P-channel FET as its main switch and a P channel driver for its internal circuitry. The P channel FET is used for controlling the output of the device in response to changes in the input voltage. Its main advantage is the low power consumption and minimal heat dissipation. The output voltage is maintained by a series of resistors, which can be adjusted to regulate the output voltage range, and can be further adjusted with an external feedback loop circuit.In addition to the P-channel FET, the L6739TR also contains an integrated N-channel FET.
