The LM22678TJ-ADJ/NOPB is a monolithic synchronous buck regulator buck converter suitable for a variety of applications including: battery powered devices, portable devices and telecommunication systems.

The LM22678TJ-ADJ/NOPB is designed to operate as a buck regulator in four basic modes: low-noise PWM mode, fixed frequency PWM mode, Pulse Frequency Modulation (PFM) mode, and Burst Mode™ operation. In each mode the output voltage remains in regulation and the output current remains constant.

The LM22678TJ-ADJ/NOPB includes two integrated MOSFETs. An integrated, low on-resistance high-side MOSFET provides high efficiency conversion with low component count. An integrated N-channel MOSFET provides high efficiency at lower voltage steps and minimum component count for low output power applications.

An input voltage operating range of 2.6V—16V, allows for use in numerous portable, telecom and CPU core power supplies applications. The device works from a wide range of input voltages, from a variety of power sources, such as: 4.5V—14V lead-acid or Li-Ion batteries, automotive or wall supplies, or USB supplies.

The device also features true concurrent mode operation. This feature provides low output ripple no matter the input voltage. This allows very small output capacitors to be used and significantly reduces power loss.
