The LM25101ASD/NOPB Gate Driver consists of two input ports, two N-Channel output ports and a logic-level control for setting the operating mode. The input ports are used for supplying the gate drive signals to the output ports. The output ports are N-Channel MOSFETs which create high and low states. The circuit can be operated in either continuous conduction mode (CCM) or Discontinuous conduction mode (DCM).

In CCM, the output devices maintain a continuous conduction state. The circuit includes an adjustable dead-time control, which is used to prevent cross-conduction between the output devices. This allows the output devices to be always on and prevents voltage transients at the outputs. In DCM, the output devices switch between two states, low and high. The circuit includes an adjustable dead-time control, which is used to prevent shoot-through current between the output devices.
