The LM2576T-12/NOPB is a voltage regulator device from Texas Instruments that is part of their family of PMICs. Working Principle

The LM2576T-12/NOPB uses a bidirectional current sensing scheme to detect the output current. This sensing scheme allows the device to detect the output current and control the on-time of the power switching transistor to ensure that the output current does not exceed the specified limit. The internal oscillator sets the switching frequency with an accuracy of +/- 1%.
